Up all night with Daisy, got little sleep. She's been scratching at bedding, vomitting etc. We've been helping her settle in her whelping box as she keeps going to her bed under the stairs, not ideal as not alot of room for us to get in and help! At 11:20 this morning her waters have broke so she is into her 2nd stage, strange as I wouldn't say she was making a racket as one would expect if having contractions. Oreo has been superb so far, not been left out and has been asleep with Daisy during the night in the whelping pen. He senses somethings about to happen as he has been grooming her and looking after her. Right, off for some lunch so ready for some action! All's good here as there's myself, Mick, wife Kathy and youngest daughter Chloe (18) all ready and waitng to do our bit. Our other two daughters are getting anxious and want to witness the birth, one needs to get a train here and the other is working!
